Many journalists placed under permanent police surveillance

Many journalists were placed under permanent police surveillance and were forbidden to leave their city of residence to go to Sidi Bouzid to cover the rioting taking place there. Radio Kalima correspondent Nizar Ben Hassen was followed by three unmarked police cars waiting near his home in La Chebba. Elaph (http://www.elaph.com) correspondent Ismaïl Dbara was also followed by police cars.
