Moez El Bey, Radio Kalima’s correspondent in Sfax, was subjected to intimidation by the police after interviewing a person who had been rushed to hospital with injuries received during rioting in the city. He was escorted to the hospital’s police post, where he was subjected to a humiliating body search and was threatened with reprisals if he continued to cover local events. His recording of the interview was erased and his camera’s memory card was confiscated.
