Naziha Saeed, a journalist who works for France 24 and Radio Monte-Carlo, was summoned and interrogated for nearly 12 hours in a police station in Riffa. She said torture was used during a series of interrogation sessions. Saeed had often talked about the government-orchestrated repression in the foreign media in recent months.
