A few weeks after his release from Prey Sar prison on 13 April 2010, Hang Chakra gave an interview to Reporters Without Borders about his nine months in prison and the future of the newspaper he edits, Machas Srok. He was freed under a royal pardon that was issued for the Khmer New Year.
