GEO magazine has been a leading photojournalism magazine for 30 years. It has built its reputation on ground-breaking photo reporting from the four corners of the globe. What could be more natural than for GEO and Reporters Without Borders, an organisation that defends press freedom worldwide, to join forces in creating a photograph album ?

The photos, illustrations and maps published each month in GEO help us to better understand our world. Its photo reports become our travelogues. They inspire us to dream, but they also make us think. They force us to keep questioning our vision of the world, our cultures and traditions.

This collection presents 100 of the finest photos taken by 10 of GEO’s leading photographers. It presents an original view of our planet and the men and women who inhabit it.

Proceeds from the sale of our publications allow us to continue providing crucial aid to journalists in need. Our support enables threatened reporters to escape the clutches of authoritarian and repressive governments. Every year, dozens of journalists manage to avoid imprisonment or murder. It is your support that makes this possible.

Support our work by buying “GEO: 100 photographs for Press Freedom.” On sale in France from 3 December for €9.90.
