Laura Elsey, US Development Manager
Laura joins Reporters Without Borders US office in April 2013 with a long career in both donor development and freelance writing. Originally hailing from the UK, where she earned a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing and Journalism, Laura has previously worked for the National Advertising Benevolent Society in London and WWF (UK), looking after different constituency groups, organizing events and developing large networks of supporters. She has also worked for some of the well-known UK newspapers, so working for Reporters Without Borders is a perfect marriage between her media experience and her donor development expertise. Laura is focused to growing the RWB community of supporters in the US and to helping raise awareness and funds to advance the mission of Reporters Without Borders.
