With the help of our network of correspondents based in over 120 countries and our strong working relationship with local journalists’ associations, Reporters Without Borders (RWB) is able to defend the rights of journalists and raise awareness about threats to press freedom around the world.

REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR CORRESPONDENTS IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY.

Our goal is to have at least one correspondent in every state. Whether you are a recent graduate looking for an impressive addition to your resumé or a veteran reporter ready to do your part for press freedom, you can become a correspondent for RWB in your state. Dynamic individuals with networking skills can discover the advantages of working for an international organization and be part of its global network.

As one of our volunteer correspondents, you will be responsible for a two-way flow on information: while reporting on freedom of the press in your state, you will disseminate RWB’s campaigns and major reports in your state. Our correspondents are also vital in building networks and raising awareness on the ground, and can help with organizing events such as rallies and press conferences as well as creating contacts within the local media.

If you are a journalist who wants to work toward press freedom and help fellow journalists around the world who do not have the good fortune to live in a country with freedom of expression, volunteer today and become a correspondent for Reporters Without Borders by sending your resumé and a cover letter by email.
